0:06Hello, my name is Tina Powers and I’m
0:08with Hamilton Realy Group EXP
0:11right here in Southport, North Carolina.
0:13And I would like to welcome you to my
0:14neighborhood, Smithfield Woods. I’ve
0:16lived here in Smithfield Woods for 25
0:18years. The reason I love this area in
0:21this community so much is because all of
0:23the homes back here are custombuilt
0:25homes. All of the lot sizes range at at
0:30least in half an acre or more.
0:34We do not have a homeowners association
0:36and we are located outside of the city
0:39which we do not pay Southport city taxes
0:42even though you’re just a short golf
0:44cart or bike ride downtown. One of the
0:46things I love most about this community
0:48is that we are located so close to
0:50downtown Southport. Yet, we don’t pay
0:52city taxes and we’re just hopping on a
0:55bike, riding downtown or a golf cart,
0:57and you’re there within 5 or 10 minutes.
1:00I love my neighbors back here. It’s
1:02really a great mix of folks. We have
1:04retirees. We have young families.
1:08We have people that have been here since
1:11the 1980s when the subdivision was
1:14developed. We typically get together for
1:16a few garage parties. We meet up at the
1:19pub. It’s just a great knit community.
1:22So, if you’re thinking about moving to
1:24the Southport area, please give me a
1:27call and let me show you the
1:29neighborhood that I’ve been in for 25
1:31years that I love so much because it’s
1:35little off the beaten path and you do
1:37not want to miss it and I would love to
1:39show it to you.
