Sell Your Home FASTER!

Why are Some Homes Able to Sell Faster than Others?

Do you have a house currently on the market? Confused as to why it’s not selling since the market is HOT? You have taken all the right steps in listing your house with an agent, but there may be a few things you can do to speed up the process and get to closing! In this article, I’ll highlight four easy ways that you can help your house look and feel more like home to a potential buyer.

Ample Storage Space

Now, you may be wondering, “I don’t have any way to create more storage space,” since you are most likely using it, but that’s where you’ve got to bite the bullet and make some changes. You are moving aren’t you? Well, time to clear out the closets. Buyers are not interested in seeing your skeletons. When touring your home, they are going to be picturing their lives there in every aspect – including the closets. By clearing out one or two closets, they will appear bigger and more appealing, therefore, more enticing to your buyer!

Staging

When selling a product, you want to make sure it looks and feels its absolute best right? The same goes with your house! Declutter, deep clean, and remove personal effects in order to make your home as enticing and picturesque as possible. Like I said before, people want to be able to envision themselves in your home! They also want to see that it is being well taken care of, and all the potential it has for their new life.

Proper Pricing

You want the price of your house to reflect its value and also be competitive. Setting a price that is too high will turn potential buyers away! Working with your real estate agent and trusting them to set a price that reflects the value of your home is very important. Especially right now, with the market being so hot, your realtor will know exactly how to price your house so that you can get the most out of it possible.

Move-in Ready

Move-in ready may sound daunting if you are facing a lot of repairs, but some of those repairs are much more manageable than you may realize. Small fixes here and there are very important and add a lot of value to your home when selling. Anything you can do to speed up the process of another family being able to move in will work to your advantage!
