The Cape Fear Beer and Wine Festival is back at the Convention Center on March 10, 2018. The 8th annual festival will feature over 125 beers and wines from more than 50 breweries and wineries. Drinkers and non drinkers alike will enjoy live music, a DJ, beer-e-oke and a beer-cade featuring old school video games.
For family fun and entertainment, the 19th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins on Front Street in Downtown Wilmington at 11 am on March 17th. Bring the children to the St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Riverfront Park following the parade for live music, traditional Irish dancing and authentic cuisine from noon until 6pm.
As the weather warms up, the opportunity for outdoor activities arises. Among those activities are the concerts at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, Wilmington’s open-air concert venue. This month features Chris Lane and Drive By Truckers.
If culture is what you seek this month, Thalian Hall has plenty to offer in the month of March. Everything from jazz music, art exhibits and performing arts groups to comedy, dramatic performances and children’s plays can be found at Thalian Hall in downtown Wilmington.
Easter celebrations begin early this year and the Battleship North Carolina is celebrating on March 31st with their annual Easter Egg Hunt Carnival in Battleship Park. Children of all ages will enjoy pony rides, bouncy houses, treats, games and egg hunts throughout the day as well as a chance to meet the Easter Bunny!
Adults need not miss out on the Easter holiday fun either. The Leland Municipal Park is hosting an evening flashlight egg hunt on March 29th at 7:30. Enjoy live music, food and beverages and an evening of fun at Leland Municipal Park!
