The Reserve Club * 18-hole course by Nicklaus Design
Opening in 2006, The Reserve Club was named “Best New Course in North Carolina.” It offers a par 72 championship caliber 7,100 yard layout created by Nicklaus Design. The terrain is rolling and the native vegetation aid in emphasizing strategy and shot-making. The course is laid out amid water features and Carolina Bay nature preserves.

The Members Club * 27-hole course designed by Hale Irwin
Of the four golf clubs, The Members Club, which opened in 1996, is the only one to offer 27 holes. The original 18 was designed by three-time U.S. Open Champion Hale Irwin. The par 72 layout of 6,687 yards offers bold design, with multiple tee boxes and lines of play, with a changing variety of golf and visual appeal. It is reminiscent of Pinehurst with rolling hills of pine trees and oaks.

Tim Cate, one of the best known East Coast golf course designers, created the additional 9 holes. He initiated more sand, water, elevation changes and undulating greens.

The Founders Club * 18-hole course designed by P. B. Dye
Launched in 1991, The Founders Club was designed by P.B. Dye. Its par 72 championship layout plays to 7,016 yards.  Native vegetation and inserted water hazards, marshes, pot bunkers, and undulating greens are brought in to play. Most of the fairways are wide with picturesque tall pines and oaks. The golf course plays alongside coastal salt marshes and overlooks the bordering Intracoastal Waterway.

The Players Club * 18-hole course designed by Tim Cate
The Players Club, opened in 1997 with an 18-hole, 6,940 yard, par 72 course designed by North Carolina native Tim Cate.  Cate’s design of narrow fairways force accuracy off the tees. The layout of the course is speckled with signature waste bunkers sporting small coastal Carolina hardwoods, while blending seamlessly with tidal creeks and salt water marshes.
